We encourage you to explore these and also to connect with your state or local National Federation of Families affiliate if you need support, information or resources to assist you with your child, youth or young adult's educational needs.
The Center for Parent Information and Resources is a central resource for Parent Training and Information Centers and Community Parent Resource Centers, offering information and products to assist the families of children with disabilities. We encourage you to visit their resource library and search the term "education" for a comprehensive list of information and resources that were designed for families.
Understood has served millions of families of kids who learn and think differently. They focus on empowering these individuals - and those who support them - to thrive at home, at school, and at work. Understood offers accessible resources and a compassionate community. We encourage you to subscribe to their channel on YouTube where they have more than 120 videos on a broad range of topics, including education.
