Join the National Family Support Technical Assistance Center (NFSTAC), SAMHSA's first family support focused Center of Excellence, in April for a webinar on self-care with national speaker Sue Badeau.
Learning Objectives include:

Participants will understand the impact of a global crisis on their experiences of loss, grief and vicarious trauma or secondary traumatic stress

Participants will gain capacity to recognize their own warning signs

Participants will utilize at least three strategies to adapt their own self-care during COVID-19 and other current crises

The National Federation of Families is a national family-run organization linking more than 120 chapters and state organizations focused on the issues of children and youth with emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs and their families. It was conceived in Arlington, Virginia in February, 1989 by a group of 18 people determined to make a difference
in the way the system works.
