Spring Training for System of Care Grant Communities Funded in 2008

Ft. Worth, Texas

March 23-24, 2010
(Travel dates March 22 and 25)

Who should attend?

• SAMHSA System of care communities funded in 2008.
• Each community should send a three-person team consisting of a family leader, a youth leader, and an evaluator. This team should consist of people who are willing and able to:
  • provide family and youth training in their own community;
  • openly examine issues of cultural competence, and
  • champion the use of data to improve local system of care.

Is this a required meeting?

• This meeting is not required; however, it is an excellent opportunity to obtain assistance and guidance to meet the requirements of your grant.

What will it cost?

• The training is free to grant communities! We can provide this training at no cost because it is provided through a subcontract to the National Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health from the national evaluation.

Who pays for travel and lodging?

• Each grant community will be responsible for travel and lodging expenses, including all meals, for members of their team. For information on the government per diem rates, please visit www.gsa.gov
