Strategic Sharing Workbook: Youth Voice in Advocacy

Tue, 2013-01-08 16:16 -- admin

This workbook on strategic sharing was developed by Eric Lulow, former Youth Involvement Associate for the National Federation of Families and Portland State University's RTC 4 Pathways 2 Positive Futures.

This guide outlines various methods a youth can utilize in sharing his/her story while also preparing and protecting the youth from the negative things that can come from sharing one's story. The workbook includes numerous real world examples and are collected from the writer's experience growing up sharing his own story, as well as issues identified by other youth who have also shared their own story. Readers are able to also take self exams at the end of each section to test their knowledge on the subject to see if they are comfortable and ready to demonstrate what they have learned through the workbook.
