Your Input Needed on the MH & SA Block Grants!

Dear National Federation Members,

We have less than two weeks to let our voices be heard and to impact change at SAMHSA.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) published a notice in the Federal Register requesting comments on proposed changes to the Mental Health Block Grant and Substance Abuse Block Grant (which can now be submitted as a single uniform application) for fiscal years (FY) 2014-2015. The National Federation submitted comments, and we encourage you to do the same! Please find attached our comments, and feel free to add any additional priorities of your own. To see the Federal Register notice, as well as the full block grant application, go to http://www.samhsa.gov/grants/blockgrant/.
