Get Involved

Become a Member of the National Federation

One of the best ways you can stay up-to-date on children's mental health and make the biggest impact in your community is to join us in our family. We currently have thousands of members who advocate and elicit change at the community level through their affiliation with the National Federation of Families.

Registration is completely free and, in addition to becoming a lifetime member, you get other great benefits including reduced conference registration, first looks at materials such as our newsletter, and periodic email blasts.

If you are interested in joining the cause, please head on over to our member registration page (it only takes a minute).

Find a Local Chapter and/or State Organization

If you're looking to take your advocacy to the next level in your own community, you may be interested in seeing what chapters and/or state organizations are already established in your area. Our chapters and state organizations are our eyes and ears to the things going on at the community level and we often work with each organization on building materials and information to help support their various efforts.

If you don't see a chapter and/or state organization near you, or you are interested in trying your hand at establishing a family-run organization, feel free to give us a call. Marion Mealing, our membership coordinator will be able to get you started by providing you with a chapter application and the requirements to apply. She can be reached at 240-403-1907, Monday through Fridays, from 8:30am to 4:30pm ET.
